Portrait of Dr. Felicitas Florchinger

About me

I am Dr. Felicitas Florchinger. I help people understand their land and make good decisions for it.

I trained as an agronomist and hold a PhD in agronomy. Over decades of international work I have dealt with agricultural and ecological systems in many forms — which taught me that good solutions are always specific to a place.

My work focuses on agroecology and resilience design, and I am a certified permaculture designer. These approaches share a simple idea: a piece of land is a living system, and it works best when soil, water, plants, animals and people are considered together.

Through Mi Campo Vivo, I bring that understanding to fincas in the Axarquía and the wider Málaga region. I combine scientific analysis — soils, water, terrain, climate and fire exposure — with practical, site-specific design, so that owners know what is happening on their land and what to do next.

How I work

  • Independent I do not sell products, plants or construction work. My recommendations are based on what your land needs.
  • Evidence before action I observe, measure and map before I recommend. I distinguish clearly between what is known, what is likely and what still needs to be tested.
  • Clear explanations You should understand why a measure is proposed, what it costs in time and money, and what it can — and cannot — achieve.
  • Practical A design is only useful if it can be built and maintained. I plan in phases that fit your budget and the way you use the property.

Let’s talk about your land

A short message is enough to start the conversation.
